We ran to the bus stop, laughing at the thought of the fancy dress part\

Don and Maria sat in the cafe, talking about what to do when they left

school.

The Smith family packed their suitcases, thinking about their holiday

Paula lay on her bed, worrying about the exam the next day.

Trudy drove to work, not looking forward to the difficult day ahead.

Mr Jones wrote a letter to the bank, asking for an appointment the

9 'It always rains in Scotland when we're here on holiday,' Sam said
miserably.

10 'There, there. Don't be afraid. The injection won't hurt,' said the nurse gently lo the small child.
