Back-up

This is to backup of the data from the remote area. There are manual backup and auto backup

(schedule backup), and VDB file mode or AVI file mode are supported.

When unconnected site is designated, the connection is made automatically to backup.

Unstable network can interrupt the working and with restoration of the network within the

specified time, the backup is automatically done with auto-connection. Work can not be finished

if the remote program is off while working.

The below is backup window, it shows current working details.

Add task: to register new workings.

Delete: to delete registered work or finished work from the list

Hide: to return watching screen. Current backup working keeps going when button is clicked.

Start: to start manual backup.

Stop: to finish the currently backup working

Task list: to show currently registered working.

Task details: to show the chosen working details on the working list

1.3.13.1 setting working

(1) Task name: to input backup file name

(2) Site name: to specify site to backup. Choose one from the left list.

(3) Backup mode: to choose working.

- Manual: to start the specified working manually.

- Daily: to start the specified working automatically on the specified time everyday.

- Weekly: to start the specified working automatically on the specified day of the week

every week.

- Monthly: to start specified working on the specified date of every month.

- Specified: to start specified working on the specified date.

(4) Backup working time

- Daily

Start time: When the Backup working starts.

Task duration: Maximum duration during the backup is working.

If the backup operating is over the specified “working time” due to the network

environment, the backup working will be suspended automatically.

So, user should enter the enough time to be needed to backup operating.

- Weekly

-Monthly

- Specified

(5) Camera selection

Click the source camera button where there is source data. “All” button

selects all of the cameras.

(6) Save mode seletion

User can select the source data mode (continuous recording, motion

recording, sensor recording) and audio in DVR server.

“All” button selects all of the video and audio data in DVR server.

(7) Source save selection

- Insert the starting and ending time of the object data which user want to backup by

“manual backup”.

- Insert the starting and ending time of the object data which user want to

backup by “Auto backup”. In case of that day, insert 0 day, 1 day In case of the day before

(8) Target file type

VDB: DVR file type backup. User can play back this file using the DVRPLAYBACK program

which is provided with DVR or Network Client Program.

AVI: It is able to be play back using Media Player (ex: Windows media player).

(9) Target file path

The folder where user want to backup the data.

Popup

With environment setup- system setup – event popup check, and if the recording of DVR is

event recording (motion, sensor) mode, the popup function will be activated. If the IP address is

registered on the environment setup – network – remote notification of the DVR,

the popup function will be activated under the non-connection status.

The popup function will be not activated on the Play back mode of client program.

1.3.15 Exit & minimize the program screen.

The user can exit from the program or minimize the screen size by the “Exit”

button.

1.3.13.1 Minimize

If the user selects the “Minimize” in the box, the program

screen size is minimized and displayed on the task bar.

To see the program screen again, click on the minimized

icon on the task bar.

1.3.13.2 Exit

The user can exit the program by click on the “Exit”.

1.3.13.3 Cancel

If the user selects “Cancel”, it goes back to the program screen again.
