2. to blame – to accuse: The investigator blamed the driver for the accident. He blamed her sister for her child’s death. I don’t want to accuse him of telling lies. She said that her employers accused her of theft.
3. to let – to allow: Let me have a look at that letter. Due doesn’t let her kids eat candy. We don’t allow people to smoke anywhere in the building. Don’t allow your problems to dominate your life.
