Camp MAKE

An English-language leadership camp, Camp “MAKE” means Multiculturalism, Action, Knowledge, and Empowerment, and those are the exact skills we wish to instill in our campers. Students take four main classes at MAKE: project planning, human rights, sharing cultures, and leadership. Students also compete in a debate at the end of the camp.

The camp focuses on English-language by providing a laid-back atmosphere. Students work together in different teams to complete a number of challenges and activities. Each counselor also offers an elective class ranging from topics such as music, crafts, or foreign languages.

Camp Mascot

Camp MASCOT is an 8-day summer camp for Ukrainian youth aged 15-20, conducted in English. This camp gives Ukrainian youth a unique opportunity to learn and express themselves through critical thinking, individual expression, active citizenry and global awareness. During the camp students attend three classes almost everyday on creative arts, social issues in Ukraine (diversity, tolerance, HIV/AIDS, disabilities etc.) and how to address these social issues through creative projects. In addition, MASCOT brings together American Volunteers and Ukrainian university students / graduates.

Camp MASCOT creates a safe/stimulating environment where campers will be exposed new attitudes of critical issues in Ukraine, feel comfortable in exploring their creative and artistic talents, and are exposed to the vast resources of cross-cultural outlook and skill-building.
