2.1 Functions & Features

- Remote monitoring through web browser like Internet Explorer v6.0, without remote

surveillance program.

- Remote monitoring of the Local DVR status (Screen, Audio, Sensor, & Control status)

- Remote PTZ control

- Remote search & playback

 

2.2 Program installation

 

2.2.1 DVR setting

Click the check box of “use” & “Web use” in the “Environment setup / Network” of

the DVR.

Web access protocol is TCP/IP and the port number is 80. If user wants to use another

port number, you should enter the IP address and port number which user want to use in

address bar

 

* Notice

Some internet service companies could block the web server operation, so in this case,

inquire to the internet service company.

 

2.2.2 Web browser setting

It is optimized in Internet Explorer v6.0.

Input the DVR IP in the address box of the web browser and press “Enter”.

If it is the first access, the access program is automatically downloaded from the DVR

server.

 
 

 


When the above window is displayed, press “Yes”. The program screen is shown as

below after a while.

 
 

 


2.3 How to use

       
 
 
   

 

 


2.3.1 Log-in

 
 


The above box is open after the user clicks the Log-in button.

If the user is registered in the DVR and has an ID &

Password, uncheck the “Guest mode connect” and input

the ID & Password.

If the user wants to see the currently displayed Live image,

select “Real time mode”, and wants to search & playback,

select “Search mode” & the time to search. The user can

access to the web monitoring program after all above

selections and click on “OK” button.

 

 

2.3.2 Log-out

The user can exit from the web access by click on the Log-out button.

 

2.3.3 Real-time live image surveillance.

Live image & the image information is shown together on the image display area.

The user can see the site name & camera name (registered in the DVR) in the upper-

left side, the resolution in the bottom-left side, and “Live” in the upper-right side.

 

2.3.3.1 Screen division

The user can select the screen division mode among 1, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 13, & 16

channel modes.

 

2.3.3.2 Auto-rotation

 
 


The displayed screen is automatically rotated as the currently displayed

division mode.

For example, if the user operates this function while 4 channel screen division mode,

the screen will be automatically rotated in the divided screen as 4 parts.

2.3.3.3 Next screen

 
 


The screen moves to the next channel in 1 channel mode and in 4 channel

mode or more, the screen will go to the next 4 channel or more mode.

For example, if the user watches 1~4 channels in 4 channel mode and clicks this

button, the screen will go to 4~8 channel.

 

2.3.3.4 Channel position move

The user can change the channel position by moving the mouse with the left button

pressed (Drag & Drop).

 

2.3.3.5 Audio data playback

If the searched data includes audio data, the user can play back it also, through the

web browser.

 

2.3.4 Sensor, Relay display part

This part shows the sensor and relay status.

If the sensor or relay operates, the icon color is changed. (Sensor: red, Relay: blue)

 

 

2.3.5 Camera selection

The user can select a camera by click on the image display area or the camera button

in the bottom side of the screen.

 

 

2.3.6 PTZ control

Control the PTZ on the PTZ control part after selecting a channel on the screen.

If the PTZ is being controlled in the DVR system, the remote PTZ control function does

not operate.

 

 

2.3.7 Search & playback

The user can find the setting box to play back the recorded data in the DVR by click

the right button of the mouse, after selecting a channel on the screen.

If the user wants to disconnect, select “Disconnect channel”, and wants to connect,

select “Connect channel”.

     
 
 
 

 

 


Select the camera to see in the above setting box.

Then check “Real time mode” or “Search mode”.

If the user wants to search & play back the recorded

data, check the “Search mode” and choose the date

& time.
