The online information and registration is available at www.kantiana.ru/eng/summerschoolImmanuel Kant Baltic Federal University Law School IV Summer School “Future Lawyers: Essential Skills to Success” August – 4 September 2015 At the Baltic sea in Kaliningrad, Russian Federation The Summer School programme includes a unique set of courses specially designed to develop a range of professional skills that would be of significant use to all future lawyers as well as to economists, social and political science students and psychologists. Courses will be taught by Professors from leading universities of the USA, UK, Greece, Armenia and Russia as well as practitioners having rich experience in different spheres of legal work, politics and diplomacy. The languages of the Summer School are English and Russian. There will be courses taught only in English or only in Russian, as well as combined events for all participants. Every Summer School participant will choose a minimum of 6 obligatory courses, in order to receive a Summer School Certificate, upon successful completion. The courses are academically challenging and grades will be awarded by all lecturers.
In addition to the main educational programme, the Summer School participants will be able to attend · Lunchtime seminars ( Brown Bag) · Receptions Moreover, an amazing team building exercise at the Baltic sea will form an integral part of the IKBFU Summer School; this encapsulates its challenging and resourceful spirit, a spirit that goes beyond simple academic ambition, but instead adopts the ‘ work hard, play hard’ maxim.
The educational programmeof the Summer School is free of charge for all selected participants and local accommodation in Kaliningrad will be covered for selected participants. The foreign participants will not have to pay for their rooms. International travel costs remains the responsibility of the participants.
An administration fee of 100 Euros is payable by participants at registration, in order to cover lunches, excursions and other social program events, internal transport and teaching materials. The Summer School Organising Committee can provide visa support if needed. Applications must reach the Organising Committee by 15 July 2015.
