SUMMER 2015

Summer is my favorite season because it is warm, the nature is beautiful and we have great opportunities for rest. Summer is a time of holidays. We can go anywhere, spend our time near the river or a lake on fresh, green grass, swim in warm water, or climb mountains, play different games, ride a bicycle and so on. Summer holidays give the longest rest from studying that’s why I like them so much.

In June I stayed at home because of my English practice at school. But I was glad because at least I had time for myself. I read books, listened to music, watched films and visited my friend.

Then I spent two weeks in Yalta near the sea. My family and I spent a lot of time at the beach. The weather was hot and humid so I got a great tan! But all these things are not so interesting like trip to Moscow thanks to which it was the greatest summer ever.

It was the first flight and I was so excited. While walking around the city center, I saw the Kremlin, Red Square, Cathedral of St. Vasiliy the Blessed and the well-known chiming clock on a tower of the Kremlin. It was impossible to visit the capital and not to go to the Tretyakov gallery. There is collection of all masterpieces by the most talented well-known artists.

Generally the capital left impression of the huge, great and rich city. I would like to visit it once more. From Moscow we returned on August 17, much refreshed and happier.

Last two weeks of my holiday I spent preparing to school. All in all my summer vacation was really fun and I enjoyed every minute of it!
