My entrance essay on speciality deals with the problems of Home History. It’s title is “Culture and Art in the last decade of the 20th century”. I investigated the changes in Culture and Art development during this period of time. This work is in fact a plan for the future research. It contains an introduction, 3 main parts and the conclusion. In a way, I dare say, it is the first project for my thesis. On the other hand, I admit that to become a thesis this draft has to undergo some changes in its own time. For the first time I tried to draft the research objectives, the main and intermediate tasks of it, its urgency, novelty, its theoretical and practical value. Moreover, I made an attempt to formulate the hypothesis of my investigation. The goals of my entrance project paper were to show on the basis of historical facts the dependence of Culture and Art development from the state policy.

In my entrance paper I intended to touch the ground of my research. The theme of it was “A contemporary view upon the 18th century England”. You see, it was determined by the sphere of my scientific speciality. I am going to investigate English History.

In this project I tried to give the reasons for my future research, to draft its approximate structure and to define its theoretical and practical value, its topicality and novelty, to formulate the goals and tasks and the hypothesis itself. Generally speaking, it was a further development of my diploma paper. The main research goals of my entrance project paper were to describe the main English social groups and to show some aspects of the 18th century every-day life. I am sure, that the results of my future research will be new for this branch of science and be used for the solution of modern social problems.

My entrance work on speciality was devoted to the problems of the revival of the Russian Orthodox Church. The title of it was “The Conception of Spiritual and Moral Personality Formation in the Priest Ignaty Bryanchaninov’s Works”. The sphere of my research is Russian Orthodox Church Pedagogy. I am interested in the theoretical understanding and practical meaning of spiritual and moral personality formation in the Holy Scripture and in the works of the Holy Fathers of the Russian Orthodox Church. My investigation was devoted to the pedagogical activity of one of the most outstanding theoretics and theologians of the 19th century Ignaty Bryanchaninov. He was the author of many theological works, which survey philosophical, anthropological, pedagogical aspects of personality formation and upbringing. The experience of the Holy fathers of the Russian Orthodox Church is a spiritual and moral compass, which can show us the direction in life. That’s why this theme is important for modern system of education and upbringing.

b

My entrance paper on speciality was applied for some technical and methodical questions of network communication in education. The theme of it was “Methods and technical problems of the electronic network creation”. Certainly, it is closely connected with the theme of my scientific research. I specialize in network communication. I believe, this project will help to achieve my professional goals and will benefit my research work. In fact, it is a sort of a detailed program for the future thesis.

The purpose of this work was to analyse some methods and technical problems of the network creation. The hypothesis of the work was to prove the meaning of the methodological support for the electronic network development and its application to the process of teaching.

The first part was “ The role of the network communication in education”. The title of the 2nd part was “ The application of network technologies at modern school”. The 3d part was “Technical problems of network creation” and the 4th one was “Economical support for the network communication”.

The urgency, novelty, theoretical and practical value of this theme are determined by the present day demands to the development of this field of research. I believe the computer network opens up a whole range of new opportunities.

b

My entrance project paper was dedicated to some historical aspects of Pedagogy. Its theme was “The Upbringing in the Eastern Slavs Culture: the folk pedagogy in ancient legends, proverbs, myths and sayings”. It’s a pity, but though the work was not formal, it is not closely connected with the area of my future research. But I hope, that some of its points can be used in my thesis.

The goals of my entrance project paper were to research the history of the social upbringing in Russia and to analyse some folklore materials. I came to the conclusion that the ancient literature works were in fact the reflection of the public system of education. To tell the truth, I am interested in the problem of senior school development and in its aesthetic content. I hope that my entrance project paper will give an opportunity to foresee the structure of my research as a whole and to follow its history. This work was highly appreciated by my scientific supervisor.
