My Favourite Film (3)

Among different types of films (that is comedy, romantic drama, western, adventure film, police drama or detective film, psychological thriller, horror film, historical film) best of all I like comedy and romantic drama, because such films are very cheerful and full of life. I don't like horror films and I find them quite disgusting.

Sometimes I may watch a police drama or a historical film, but I'm not very keen on these types of films. Now let me tell you about one of my favourite films "Gone with the wind" by the novel by Margaret Mitchell.

Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of its producer, but I like the acting. Scarlett O'Hara — there is no more lively character, which makes the reader and the spectator palpitate (in the film this role was played by Vivian Lee). Maybe the words from the Irish song are about Scarlett: "if the Irish eyes are laughing, oh, they' re stealing your heart".

Scarlett goes through many trials and troubles, but her sharp and strong mind, her strong will help her to survive. And not only to survive, but to render and to develop moral values in this cruel world. Ratt was telling her in vain that they were both scoundrels. He is cynical by conviction, she is under the pressure of circumstances.

Scarlett is a symbol of wonderful America, the child, who was crippled with greed, but didn't lose inner beauty. Even her name, which was found at the last moment >n the publishing house contained the ideal and vice, innocence and regeneration. In English it sounds like Scarlett flower and illness (scarlet fever).
Much in common, though their characters and fates are different, has Scarlett with the character of another film Jane Eyre.

They are too different, but at the same time too similar. Scarlett is very beautiful, flighty and noisy. Jane isn't beautiful. She is modest and peaceful. But they are both strong in the difficult minutes of the life. Skarlett and Jane for the sake of love can pass through all the difficulties. They are faithful to their men.

And I like it, that they, thank to their mind and abilities reached a lot in life. And eventually people get to appreciate both of them.

Среди разнообразия фильмов (комедия, романтическая драма, вестерн, приключенческий фильм, полицейская драма или детективные фильмы, психологический триллер, фильм ужасов, исторический фильм) больше всего я люблю комедии и романтические драмы, потому что такие фильмы веселые и оптимистичные. Я не люблю фильмы ужасов и нахожу их достаточно отталкивающими.

Иногда я могу посмотреть полицейскую драму или историческое кино, но мне не очень нравятся такие фильмы. А сейчас я хочу рассказать об одном из моих любимых фильмов — "Унесенные ветром" по роману Маргарет Митчелл.

Мне нравится игра актеров, но к сожалению, я не помню имени режиссера. Скарлетт О'Хара — нет более живого характера, который бы заставлял читателя и зрителя трепетать (в фильме эта роль была сыграна Вивьен Ли). Наверное, слова этой ирландской песни — о Скарлетт: "...если ирландские глаза улыбаются, о, они овладевают вашим сердцем".

На Скарлетт обрушивается столько испытаний и бед, но выжить ей помогают сильный и острый ум, страстная жажда жизни. И не только выжить, но и пронести и развить моральные ценности в этом жестоком мире. Напрасно Ретт говорил ей, что они оба негодяи. Он — циник по убеждению, она — под давлением обстоятельств.

Скарлетт — символ прекрасной Америки, дитя, искалеченное жадностью, но не потерявшее внутренней красоты. Даже имя ее, найденное в последний момент прямо в издательстве, соединило в себе идеал и порок, чистоту и перерождение. В английском языке оно звучит как алый цветок и болезнь (скарлатина). Много общего, хотя их характеры и судьбы разные, есть у Скарлетт с героиней другого фильма — Джен Эйр.

Они такие разные, но в то же время такие похожие. Скарлетт очень красивая, капризная и шумная. Джен некрасивая. Она скромная и мирная. Но они обе сильные в трудные минуты своей жизни. Скарлетт и Джен радилюбви переживают все трудности. Они преданы своим мужчинам.

И мне нравится, что благодаря уму и способностям они достигли многого в жизни. И в конце концов, люди начали ценить их обеих.

About films

Each year, remove a number of different films; they are of different genres and directions. But people aspire to look not only novelties, but also enjoy viewing of old films. At the history lessons the teacher told us that the first film have removed in 1895, it was interesting to learn that this film proceeded nearby fifty seconds, and besides were mute. But thought not all like to look old films some prefer comedies, some prefer horrors and thrillers, some prefer historical films. I consider that it is necessary to look both old and new films, after all in films is reflected character of this or that time. EspeciallyI love the films which have been removed on products of great writers, for example "War and peace" of known Russian writer Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy. After all thanks to such films it is possible better to understand customs and life of people lived in the different periods of time. Still I love comedies very much especially "Bruce all-powerful", with pleasure I look an old film "Caucasian captive" 1967, I do not love heavy films and films with violence, but with interest I look a film "the Perfumer. History of one murderer".

I and my friends like visiting cinema very much. We gather and look films. The last time we looked the film "Avatar" very fascinating and impressing film.

I were happy, if we and further observed this tradition. It seems to me that the film is better perceived on the big screen, rather than in the TV screen. It would be better if the old soviet films were show in cinemas more often. After all if to look, cinemas are visited basically by young generation and so and senior could relax, recollect a youth.

Ежегодно снимается множество различных фильмов, разного жанра и направления. Но люди стремятся посмотреть не только новинки, но также наслаждаются просмотром старых фильмов. На уроках истории нам рассказывали о том, что первый фильм был снят в 1895 году, интересно было узнать, что этот фильм длился всего около пятидесяти секунд, да и к тому же был немой. Но все - таки не все любят смотреть старые фильмы, кто то предпочитает комедии, кто то ужасы и триллеры, кто то исторические фильмы. Я считаю, что нужно смотреть как старые фильмы так и новые, ведь в фильмах отражен характер того или иного времени. Особенно я люблю фильмы, снятые по произведениям великих писателей, например "Война и мир" известного русского писателя Льва Николаевича Толстого. Ведь благодаря таким фильмам можно лучше понять нравы и быт людей живших в разные периоды времени. Еще я очень люблю комедии особенно "Брюс всемогущий", с удовольствием смотрю старый фильм "Кавказская пленница" 1967, тяжелые фильмы и фильмы с насилием я не люблю, но с интересом смотрю фильм "Парфюмер. История одного убийцы".

Мы с моими друзьями любим, посещать кинотеатр. Каждые каникулы мы собираемся вместе, что бы посмотреть что - нибудь новое. Последний раз мы смотрели фильм "2012" очень захватывающий и впечатляющий фильм, есть о чем задуматься.

Я была бы счастлив, если бы мы и дальше соблюдали эту традицию, мне кажется, что фильм лучше воспринимается на большом экране, нежели чем в экране телевизора. Было бы хорошо, если бы и старые советские фильмы почаще показывали в кинотеатрах, ведь если посмотреть, кинотеатры посещает в основном молодое поколение, а так бы и старшее могло развеяться, вспомнить молодость.

Nowadays it is impossible to imagine our life without cinema. Day by day it becomes more popular, and we can say without any doubts that it is one of the most popular kinds of entertainment. As for me, there is nothing like a good film which makes us sympathize to the main heroes, feel like they do, and think about our own life. Sometimes it is difficult to understand the sense from the first time; you can open a new side after another watch. But it is not always so, because today we have a lot of films which have no sense at all, that’s why it is absolutely useless to try to find anything deep in stupid fights, sex, drugs or supermen. We are so bored to watch how Americans again save our planet from some ridiculous disaster, or how Superman or James Bond fulfills one more impossible mission. There is no relationship between their extra abilities and reality. In this sense Stephanie Meyer made her best to create the “Twilight” series. In her books, which became the base for shooting world known films, extra abilities mixed with human feelings, fantastic creatures mixed with common people harmoniously. She hasn’t just described the power and the fight between two contrary worlds of vampires and werewolves in which a human girl was involved, but put real human feelings into them, raised the problem of unshared love and impossibility of being together.

“Twilight” saga became my favorite film, because I found everything I want in it. Plot, heroes, action, feelings, good and talented actors, beautiful scenery, excellent camera work- here are the components of the secret of such a great success. I must admit that before watching a film, I’ve readthe book and maybe that’s why the images were so colorful and exiting for me. But I think that millions of people who haven’t read the book and also enjoyed the film greatly is an obvious fact proving Meyer’s great talent. Since my first reading her book, I’ve joined an army of her fans, and I’m awaiting of her every new book impatiently.

As for book, I was excited by the plot greatly. Bella Swan falls in love with a fantastically handsome guy Edward Cullen, who turns out to be a vampire. His greatest natural desire is to kill her and drink her blood, but his feelings don’t allow him to do it. Bella realizes Edward’s nature and her danger of being with him, but she can do nothing with her feelings. Bella’s best friend, Jacob Black turns out to be a werewolf, who is opposed to the vampires. Poor Jacob also loves Bella, but his love is unshared, and it is a great torture for him to see his beloved with his enemy. All feelings and emotions are described in details, and it creates a full picture in your mind while you’re reading.

In the end I would like to say once again that it is important to watch good films, which have sense and attitude for you, in which you can find something close to your own world. Stephanie Meyer’s “Twilight” series are my favorite films and books, and I’ll never lose my interest to them.
