b) what the writer’s purpose is;

c) what kind of readers it is aimed at.

Why do you think it was written for?

a) to give facts;

b) to give warnings;

c) to argue;

d) to convince.

While reading the text, look out for relevant pieces of writing to work out the style as

a) concerned;

b) impartial;

c) critical.

Key phrases used to make predictions:
