In our life we have week-ends and holidays; it’s certainly more pleasant to speak about a holiday than about everyday routine. But this everyday routine is an important part of our life.
At 7.30 the alarm-clock wakes me up. Actually I’m not fond of getting up early, but I’m already used to it. I do my bed and go to the bathroom. I’m fond of taking a cold shower, as I feel cheerful after it. At 8 o’clock I’m ready to have breakfast. Breakfast as the doctors say must be the most substantial meal of the day. But I’m usually short of time, and besides, I don’t like to cook it. So I just have a cup of coffee and some sandwiches.
I leave home at 8.15. My university is not far from my house and it usually takes me 10 minutes to get there by the trolley-bus. My classes begin at 8.30. Normally we have three or four classes a day. At 11.30 a.m. I usually have a bite at our university canteen. Sometimes I stay later to work in the university reading-room, especially if we have to prepare for seminars.
When I’m back home my parents are still at work. That’s why I have to cook my dinner myself or just to take it from the fridge and warm it up. After hard work at the university and a good dinner I feel like having a rest. So after dinner I never do any important work. Rather often I take a nap or play some computer games or listen to the music or watch TV. Then it’s time for me to get down to my home task. It takes me about three hours to do the home task properly. Besides I have additional private lessons in English.
Twice a week I go to the swimming pool. It helps me to keep myself fit and feel cheerful and active. If I have two or three hours at my disposal before going to sleep I try to do something useful about the house. Rather often I have a walk together with my friends.
My parents come home rather late. When the supper is ready we gather in the kitchen and having our meal we share the day news and plan our next day. We usually watch TV till 11.00 or 11.30 p.m. Then I have a bath and go to bed to get up next morning to begin everything anew.

A: Our classes normally end at 3 p.m., as we start them at 9 a.m. Sometimes we stay later to work in the reading room or to take some additional lessons or consultations.
B: As for me, I seldom stay at the University after classes. I usually get ready for my seminars at home. I have dinner at about 2 p.m. and then take a nap. After that I do my home task.
A: What about evening?
B: Very often I go for a walk with my group-mates or friends, if the weather is fine.
A: I don’t like walking very late, as I usually go to bed at about 10.30 p.m.
